Shares anecdotes about sociability, family life, love, kindness, success, learning, and dream
About this book
This pack of CHICKEN SOUP contains important lessons on the nature of clubbiness & love, the importance of belief in the future, the value of respect for oneself & others, & much more. An inspirational chrestomathy of writings, about one-third by teenagers, that discuss the problems of growing up & how others have faced them. Stories of compassion and heroism honour those who are making a difference. Most American heroes aren't in our history books, nor do they have monuments erected in their honor. Their names aren't in the headline dirt or memorialized in song. The true hero is simply someone who makes a conversion-large or small-in the lives of others. They battle disease, crime, want and human rights violations. They clean up environments, mentor neglected children and legitimately care about others. Most importantly, anyone can be a hero in the eyes of another.
